Anyone Fancy a Jam Sandwich?

Did you hear about the Dutch border officials seizing lorry drivers’ ham and cheese sandwiches, including the bread, in the media recently?

The ban on personal meat and dairy products may seem like a surprising regulation in the post Brexit era for UK drivers travelling to the EU. The EU Commission’s guidance on personal imports states that you can’t bring POAO (products of an animal origin) which regrettably includes the traditional ham and cheese lunch!
